The Hickory Flat Area Plan relies on an Advisory Committee to guide the planning process.

This committee is made up of residents, elected and appointed officials, business owners, and representatives of local institutions like churches and libraries. The group has been tasked with contemplating how the community could be improved to better serve their organizations and the general public, to advise the project team on the goals and direction of the plan, to engage the community and hear their ideas and concerns, to spread word about the area plan and encourage participation.

Advisory Committee Members
